Afro-Latina trailblazer Amara La Negra has taken her advocacy and artistry to new heights with the launch of Amara Fest, a free community festival in partnership with the City of Miami. Originally set to take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Juan Pablo Duarte Park, the event promises a vibrant celebration of culture, music, and community. With performances by artists such as Safaree, Domino Saints, Lady M, 2Nyce, and La Negra herself, Amara Fest is poised to become a significant cultural event in Miami.

This initiative marks a significant milestone in Amara La Negra’s journey, reflecting her commitment to uplifting Afro-Latina voices and fostering community engagement. Her efforts have been recognized by the City of Miami, which honored her with a proclamation acknowledging her contributions to culture and community.

Amara Fest is more than just a music festival; it’s a testament to the power of representation and the importance of creating spaces where Afro-Latina identities are celebrated and amplified. As Amara La Negra continues to break barriers and redefine cultural narratives, Amara Fest stands as a beacon of her dedication to her roots and her community.

Due to weather, the event is postponed.
